Note from Kate & Neil: The importance of family and friends are one of the things that we both value above most else. One way of staying connected in the midst of hectic schedules is by having meals together. We were both brought up with uninterrupted family meal time and agree on its importance. We have put a lot of thought into trying to make our dining area as comfortable as possible, keeping people around the table to enjoy each other’s company. As we build our home and our family we are customizing and personalizing. Please help us to continue, by investing in our new dinnerware.We are very excited about our new dishes for a few reasons. First, they are each made by hand which makes them unique and personal. Second, we are happy to be able to support a friend and local artisan. Last, they are beautiful! Note from the potter: Congratulations to Kate & Neil! I am a Boston-based potter and fellow Lesotho RPCV and so happy to be outfitting this lucky wedding couple with unique and functional pottery. All of the pieces listed below were chosen by Kate & Neil and everything is functional, microwave & dishwasher safe. All my work uses non-leaded food-safe glazes so you (and the bride & groom) can breathe easy. Much of the work that I create is from recycled clay and I hope that by making durable kitchenware, I am creating compelling objects for use in the home and building a more just economy.
